About Father Amor:
Ryan, aka Father Amor, is a passionate dancer, cultural preservationist, educator, community leader, and activist in the Bay Area. He was introduced to the Ballroom community back in the clubs of D.C. in 2005 and has not stopped Voguing since. He walks the Old Way category and has battled legends and icons, as well as snatched his share of trophies on both coasts. Father Amor's most memorable wins to date were grand prize at Latex Ball 2016 in New York City for Pop, Dip, Spin and grand prize for the Old Way at the Rumble Ball the following night. He was voted the West Coast People's Choice Old Way 2019). Currently, Father Amor is co-chair of the northern region of the West Coast Alliance and continues to walk, judge, encourage, and produce Ballroom events up and down the West Coast.

VAN VOGUE JAM is a Vancouver based non-profit organization helping to support and build the vogue/ballroom scene within Vancouver, BC, Canada.

By facilitating pay what you can and open-to-all-levels and weekly Vogue jams, VVJ seeks to help contribute towards building a culture of dance and competition with the accessibility and safety of the LGBTQIA2+ BIPIOC community at its core.
